Malte is currently studying for a PhD in Hamburg, Germany. Inspired by his doctoral supervisor who took an YTT in Bali, Malte followed suit with the Peaceful Warrior training in January 2019. He now finds time between his studies to teach privates, sub for other teachers, help in workshops, and play around with Acro Yoga. Malte began practicing martial arts regularly from a very young age. Later, in his early twenties his trainer introduced Budokon Yoga (a blend of yoga and martial arts) to vary his practice, which eventually lead Malte to a more traditional yoga practice. Malte brings the intensity of his physical practices to his strong and creative flows. He defines a peaceful warrior as teaching from your heart, both for others and yourself. “I think that challenging oneself can lead to inner growth and have many positive effects but it should always be done consciously and mindfully.” His favorite aspect of teaching is Savasana! In the midst of all this heat and strength Malte balances his teachings by sharing his concepts of self-acceptance. He continues attending any workshops he has time for and sharing his knowledge with others.
